The City of Palos Verdes Estates will be celebrating their 75th Anniversary by opening the doors of their Stables, Beach, Tennis Golf Clubs on September 27 & 28, 2014, to residents and property owners.

The City of Palos Verdes Estates will be teaming up with Heal the Bay to host Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at Malaga Cove.

The City of Palos Verdes Estates is having an Open House on Saturday, September 6, 2014, from 9:00 - 12:00 p.m. where you can tour the Police & Fire Stations.

Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy offers many different opportunities during the month of September 2014, for volunteering, hiking, bird watching, nocturnal events and more.

On Sunday, September 14, 2014, the Palos Verdes Concours D'Elegance will be held at the Trump National Golf Course from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Beauty of Nature will be featuring Rivers and Tides, More Than Honey and Kon-Tiki to conclude this years film series sponsored by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy.

The 57th Annual Portuguese Bend National Horse Show will be held at Ernie Howlett Park on Friday, September 5, through Sunday, September 7, 2014. The event will not only have horse competitions, but will also have the feel of an old fashioned hometown fair with petting zoos, pony rides, moon bounces and more.

Palos Verdes Peninsula residents can experience the Tall Ships Festival on August 20, through August 24, 2014, which includes a boat parade and nautical themed daily entertainment at the San Pedro waterfront.

The Palos Verdes Library District now offers CoderDojo (computer coding classes) and Flipster (free magazines for ipads) to it's members through the Peninsula Center Library.

On Saturday, August 30, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy will be hosting Summer Impressions, an art workshop which also includes a family coastal hike.
