Portuguese Bend National Horse Show will be held on Friday, September 7, through Sunday, September 9, 2012, at Ernie Howlett Park in Rolling Hills Estates. There will be special equestrian events as well as an old fashioned hometown fair complete with food booths, pony rides, games, etc.
Palos Verdes Concours D'Elegance will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Trump National Golf Club. This year's featured marque is Delahaye which made some of the most elegant and luxurious French cars. Palos Verdes Concours D'Elegance Pleasure Road Rallye will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012, at 12:00 noon beginning at the Rolling Hills Country Club and finishing at the Palos Verdes Golf Club with many stops in between.

More Palos Verdes Summer Concerts will be held at Nelson's at Terranea Resort from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights as part of a picnic buffet priced from $19 to $26. The series will run Friday and Saturday nights through September 2, 2012.
