New Nature Center Storytime at George F. Canyon Nature Center in Rolling Hills Estates on March 9, 2012, for children 2 to 5 years of age will teach about our local nature. Program is designed for parents and children to attend together.

A new ruling by the 9th Circuit Court stated "that a shared living situation does not fall within the definition of 'dwelling' for either the FHA or FEHA and further stated that the 1st Amendment protects people's freedom of association regarding a choice of roommate."

Palos Verdes Beach and Athletic Club in Palos Verdes Estates is offering their Junior Lifeguard Conditioning and Dolphin Camp Training with signups for non members city residents to begin February 27, 2012.

Palos Verdes tide pool walk will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. at Abalone Cove Shoreline Park in Rancho Palos Verdes 90275. Parking will be free from 11:45 to 3:00.
