National Parks Weeks is April 20 - 28, 2013, and the 401 national parks in America, will be celebrating this event. Here in Palos Verdes we are lucky to be able to enjoy many Staffed & Drop-In Parks.

Terranea Resort will host Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy and Art To Grow On's "Spring Impressions" for children on May 4, 2013, from 10:00 - 12 noon.

Palos Verdes Peninsula Seniors lecture series has returned with 6 presentations through May 2013. These lectures will be held at Hesse Park Fireside Room in Rancho Palos Verdes on Wednesdays, from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

On Sunday, April 28, 2013, from 3-5 p.m. join the Los Serenos de Point Vicente docents on a hike at the Western Bluff trail at Trump National Golf Club.

South Coast Botanic Garden will be having their annual Spring Plant Sale & Boutique on Saturday, April 20, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Palos Verdes & Rancho Palos Verdes hazardous waste drop off dates and locations, and local paper shredding dates and locations for 90274 and 90275.

The Universe Multicultural Film Festival will be held on the Palos Verdes Peninsula on April 12-14, 2013. The events will take place at the Promenade on the Peninsula, Rolling Hills Community Center and the Peninsula Center Library.

Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy will be having its Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 20, 2013, from 9:00 a.m.-12;00 p.m. at White Point Nature Preserve where you can enjoy nature walks, art projects and join in the beautification of gardens and trails.

Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy is offering a moderate to strenuous hike at the Forrestal Reserve on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at 9:00 a.m. This is a great opportuntiy to see the wildflowers in bloom. Parking is at the Ladera Linda Community Center.

2013 Homes Tour Extraordinaire features the designs of Edward Carson Beall on three fantastic Palos Verdes Homes. On Friday & Saturday, April 12 & 13, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., you can tour these beautiful homes and also the "new" Palos Verdes Art Center.
