Palos Verdes Peninsula High School and Palos Verdes High School are hosting several information sessions for students and parents in Palos Verdes to assist in their selection of a high school for the 2018-2019 school year.

Peninsula Seniors Lecture Series for the month of January 2018, will meet Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. at Hesse Park in the Fireside Room and includes presentations by: Jim Shneer returning to present A Caravan of Martyrs:The Hashemite Family, Grace Chon a self taught commercial and editorial Animal Photographer, Dave Carroll an ACSM certified Health & Fitness Specialist & Liz Cantine professional dancer, director, choreographer and instructor. Palos Verdes Coffee and Cars will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at the Peninsula Shopping Center near Starbuck's.

Palos Verdes homes owners are able to ride the Palos Verdes transit bus free on New Year's Eve 2017. It will pick you up at your home and take you anywhere on the Peninsula.

During the month of January 2018, the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy is offering hikes on Palos Verdes trails - including nocturnal hikes, bird watching, and volunteer opportunities.

Palos Verdes Estates is getting ready for Santa to visit on Monday, December 18, 2017, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at three different locations, and Malaga Cove Plaza on December 24, 2017, at 6:00 p.m.

Santa will be making Palos Verdes visits during the next few weeks beginning with Lunada Bay Park this Thursday, December 7, 2017, and continuing with other stops all the way up to Christmas Eve.
