Terranea Resort Hosts Winter Impressions 2016 Workshop
Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy will be sponsoring Winter Impressions Workshop at Terranea Resort on Saturday, January 30, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. This enjoyable family event is sponsored by the Land Conservancy and Art to Grow On, Inc. and will begin with a coastal hike down the Discovery Trail. While walking you will be participating in activities along the path that help you become more observant of the patterns of color and the different textures that surround you at this time of year. These observations will help inspire your choices in making your “Coastal Colors” themed winter art project. Next the young artists will take their new skills and impressions and transfer them into their own masterpieces. This is a great event for children over 3 to enjoy. There is limited space and reservations are required so you are encouraged to register early. The price is only $25 per family. Meet at the pelican statue next to the Pelican Cove parking lot between the Point Vicente Lighthouse and Terranea Resort. Pelican Cove is located at 31300 Palos Verdes Drive South, Rancho Palos Verdes.
To RSVP, contact Jill Wittman at info@pvplc.org or call (310) 541-7613. Terranea Resort is located at 6610 Palos Verdes Drive South, Rancho Palos Verdes.
