February 7 – “Let’s Play Games!” will be presented by Maryam Al-Hammami, owner of the Game Chest at the Promenade. Maryam is an expert on the world of games for seniors and all ages and will be showing the latest trends in games for fun and a better memory.

February 14 – “What’s Happening Next Door” will be presented by Jennifer Addington, director of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Library District. She will be discussing the details on how libraries are managed, books acquired and the activities for seniors at the PV Library next door.

February 21 – “The Golden Age of British Mysteries” will have writer Ellen Mintz delving into the 1920 – 30s period of British writers such as Agatha Christie, Roland Knox, Dorothy Sayers, G.K. Chesterton and their detective/mystery fictions whose influence continues today.

February 28 – “The Marsatta Chocolate Experience” will have Chef Jeffray describing the chocolate experience at Marsatta from bean to bar. Join the group for a look and perhaps a taste of this small batch fine chocolate company which is celebrating two decades of chocolate decadence in Torrance.
