Palos Verdes Estates Annual Bulky Trash Pick Up is scheduled for May 3, 2014. Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes homeowners can have free collections of Bulky Trash four times a year.

The Norris Theatre will be presenting the musical comedy "The Drowsy Chaperone" from April 25 through May 11, 2014.

Palos Verdes homes owners have the opportunity to enjoy Palos Verdes Earth Day Celebrations at the Promenade on the Peninsula on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, or at the White Point Nature Preserve on Saturday, April 19, 2014.

On Saturday, April 5, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the South Coast Botanic Garden will be having it's annual Spring Plant Sale & Boutique. You will be able to purchase native plants from local nurseries and items from boutique vendors which will also help to support South Coast Botanic Garden.

Peninsula Seniors lecture series for the month of April 2014 will meet Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Hesse Park in the Fireside Room and includes presentations by Dr. William Ailor, Dr. Shelly Stockwell-Nicholas, John Crayton, Jackie Bacharach & Mark A. Viera. This month Coffee & Cars will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at the Peninsula Center and will feature British cars.

The Terranea Resort will be offering many dining opportunities for you to choose from on Easter Sunday - from the Easter Ballroom Brunch, Catalina Kitchen & Mar'sel, to Easter To Go from Sea Beans. Included with these meals is Terranea's Egg Hunts for children.

Rancho Palos Verdes Beach is one of the newer drop in parks that the City of Rancho Palos Verdes has added to its park's list. It is located beneath the Trump National Golf Course.

AYSO Region 10 registration is now open for the Fall & Summer 2014 seasons. These programs are open for children 4 to 19 years of age. This year AYSO EXTRA is also offering tryouts for both boys & girls starting on April 5, 2014.

There are several opportunities for children to visit the Easter Bunny in Palos Verdes. Beginning Saturday, March 29 through April 19, 2014, they can visit the Peninsula Center to take pictures and enjoy activities with the Easter Bunny. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny takes place on Saturday, April 12, from 8:30 - 10:00 a.m. at Ruby's in the Promenade. The City of Rancho Palos Verdes will hold its annual Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza from 10-11 a.m. at the Ladera Linda Community Center on April 19, 2014.
