2012 Palos Verdes Fourth of July celebrations will be held in Palos Verdes Estates at Malaga Cove School beginning at 9:30 a.m. and in Rancho Palos Verdes at the Civic Center beginning at 11:00 a.m.

A Palos Verdes summer concert will be held on June 21, 2012 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. in Lunada Bay Park and will feature Chaussee's Big Band. This is sponsored by PVE-CARES.

Palos Verdes Horse Happenings On The Hill will take place at Ernie Howlett Park on Sunday, June 10, 2012, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You can enjoy beautiful horses, trail rides, competitive riding, demonstrations, and a tack sale.

The 2012 Palos Verdes Street Fair & Music Festival will be held on June 9 (from 10 am-10 pm) and June 10 (from 10 am - 9 pm) at Crossfield Road between Silver Spur Road and Indian Peak Road in Rolling Hills Estates 90274.

"A Day In The Garden" (formerly known as Walk On The Wild Side will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012, at South Coast Botanic Gardens in Palos Verdes Peninsula. This fundraiser, sponsored by Las Candalistas, will benefit local charities. Tickets must be purchased before this event as there will not be any ticket sales at the Garden.

Palos Verdes Peninsula Seniors Lecture Series for May will present five different topics on Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Hesse Park Fireside Room in Rancho Palos Verdes 90275.

Palos Verdes homes owners can take their e-waste and hazardous waste to the Rancho Palos Verdes City Hall on May 5, 2012, from 9-3. Additionally, Palos Verdes Estates residents will have their bulky trash picked curbside 6:00 a.m. on May 5, 2012.

Palos Verdes homes owners have an opportunity to dispose of unwanted medications on April 28, 2012, from 10-2 at the Palos Verdes Police Department.

Palos Verdes Ride For Habitat will take place on April 21, 2012, at 7:30 a.m. (Advanced) and 8:30 a.m. (Intermediate) beginning/ending at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes. Ride will benefit Habitat For Humanity Los Angeles.

Earth Day will be celebrated on April 22, 2012, but in Palos Verdes, California, Palos Verdes homes owners have two opportunities on April 21st to honor Earth Day - at the Promenade on the Peninsula and at White Point Preserve.
