During August 2023, the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy is offering nature walks on Palos Verdes trails, volunteer opportunities, team leader training & native plant sales.

St Luke's Presbyterian Church will be presenting "The Artisan Guitar Ensemble" on Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Palos Verdes will enjoy a summer community concert with "Boogie Star" at the Ken Dyda Civic Center on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. There will also be fun activities for the kids.

Shakespeare by the Sea will be presenting "Twelfth Night" and "Hamlet" as their final festival closing performances, on Friday, August 4th & Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Point Fermin Park.

Palos Verdes enjoys "Movies In The Park" at the Ken Dyda Civic Center on Saturday, July 29, 2023, showing "The GOONIES" with fun events starting at 7:00 p.m.

Special Dog Walking Hours at the South Coast Botanic Garden will take place on Sunday, July 30, 2023, with advance reservations for time slots between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The Palos Verdes Neighborhood Church is presenting their free Summer Sunday Sounds concerts on July 16 & August 20, 2023.

The Hills Are Alive - 10K and 5K race and a 5K walk will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Ernie Howlett Park in Rolling Hills Estates and benefits The Pepper Tree Foundation.
