Palos Verdes 2012 Summer School Registration begins online for high school on March 20,2012 and March 29th for elementary schools and April 9th for intermediate schools.

Palos Verdes Easter Egg Hunt (Eggstravaganza) will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Ladera Linda Community Center in Rancho Palos Verdes. Reservations are required.

New Nature Center Storytime at George F. Canyon Nature Center in Rolling Hills Estates on March 9, 2012, for children 2 to 5 years of age will teach about our local nature. Program is designed for parents and children to attend together.

Information on children's summer activities will be available on March 10, 2012, through What's Up For Kids which will have exhibitors/resources at the Norris Pavilion in Rolling Hills Estates 90274.

Palos Verdes whale watching and other marine events will be part of Whale Of A Day at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center in Rancho Palos Verdes on Saturday, March 3, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Palos Verdes Beach and Athletic Club in Palos Verdes Estates is offering their Junior Lifeguard Conditioning and Dolphin Camp Training with signups for non members city residents to begin February 27, 2012.

Palos Verdes Hikes and Trails this Saturday, February 11, 2012, include the White Point Nature Hike and the Cabrillo Beach Nature Walk. Sunday, February 12, Cabrillo Marine Aquarium will be hosting a new Salt Marsh open house where children may use binoculars (and microscopes) to view the animal and bird life.

Palos Verdes 2012 Kindergarten Roundup (Orientation) for children of Palos Verdes homes owners will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Febraury 6, at Vista Grande School and February 7, at Dapplegray School.

Palos Verdes Junior Ranger Program is being offered to children from 7 to 12 years of age beginning January 28, 2012 through June 23rd; the five sessions will culminate in a graduation ceremony.
