Palos Verdes Art Center Dream House Raffle 2016
The Palos Verdes Art Center is holding its 14th annual PVAC Dream House Raffle. This year’s dream prize has hit the jackpot with not only a modern masterpiece, by famed architect Pierre Koenig valued at $3,595,000, but also $2,000,000 has been added for the lucky winner of the 2016 Palos Verdes Dream House Raffle.
For the past thirteen years the Palos Verdes Art Center has given away millions in cash and prizes. The money raised continues to fund the Center’s exhibitions and educational programs. The Art Center is available for local Palos Verdes homes owners to take classes, purchase hand crafted items and visit local artists exhibitions in the galleries. It also hosts the Art At Your Fingertips training center which provides the Palos Verdes Peninsula School District with their art programs. Art Center has also been used to teach art projects to at-risk youth and foster children.
The donation for a raffle ticket is still $150 and is limited to only 60,000 ticket sales. This year they are offering the Henbest House in Rancho Palos Verdes which was built in 1966 by famed architect Pierre Koenig, who was one of the California architects responsible for re-imagining the suburban home to reflect the casual Southern California Lifestyle. The house was remodeled and expanded in 2011 by Robert Sweet and features post and beam design, open space floor plan, floor to ceiling glass hardwood wall treatments, fountain entry, kitchen with island and breakfast bar, den, home office, four bedrooms, 4 baths, patios, pool and spa. This all comes, of course, with ocean views.
As in past raffles, there are special drawings for buyers who purchase tickets early. Early Bird drawing #1 will take place on April 5, 2016, at 5:30 p.m., for a new 2016 BMW 428i convertible or $40,000 cash. Early Bird drawing #2 will take place on April 26, 2016, at 5:30 p.m., for a new 2016 Mini Cooper S or $25,000 cash. There are also 3 multiple ticket drawings for $25,000 each (but you must buy two or more tickets to quality). Final ticket purchases must be made by May 10, 2016, at 6:00 p.m.
The final drawing will take place on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at 5:30 p.m and will be held at the Palos Verdes Art Center located at 5504 West Crestridge Road, Rancho Palos Verdes.
